BAR/BAT MITZVAH CELEBRATION
Our approach to Bar and Bat Mitzvah education is oriented towards preparing our youth for the important new role they will be assuming as a Jewish adult. We take the emphasis off of the child achieving a stellar performance at a ceremony, and focus on helping them define who they are for years to come. Our lessons foster an awareness that this milestone is only the beginning of Jewish life rather than a graduation from it.
We are committed to working with you to create a unique and special Bar/ Bat Mitzvah that will fit the needs of your child and be a most meaningful and memorable experience. Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremonies that are held with Pardess are meaningful, beautiful and tailor made to suit the needs of your son/daughter and family.
Private tutoring, arranged to accommodate today's demanding lifestyle, is available upon request to help you prepare for this special day.
Girls are tutored at age 11 by Goldy Sandhaus to prepare them for their 12th birthday Bat Mitzvah.
Boys are tutored at age 12 by Rabbi Zalman Sandhaus to prepare them for their 13th birthday Bar Mitzvah.
Number of lessons is dependent on how much the bar/bat mitzvah child will be reciting at the ceremony and the extent of the child’s prior Jewish education.
